July 9th Update

MLB: Pirates did not have a game.

AAA: Indianapolis was crushed 9-0 by the Columbus Clippers.

Ryan Doumit got his first hit of his rehab start as he went 2-4.

Jeremy Powell got lit up as he went 4 innings and let up 12 hits and 7 earned runs.

AA: Altoona dominated Erie by winning 10-4.
Yoslan Herrera picked up his 5th win with a decent start of 5 innings pitched and 3 earned.
Gorkys Hernandez went 2-4 with a solo shot.
Pedro Alvarez went 2-3 with a walk and 3 runs.
Miles Durham went 1-4 with 3 RBI and 1 Run

A: Lynchburg lost a close game, 3-1, to the Wilmington Blue Rocks.
Justin Wilson lost on a decent start as he went 5 innings with 2 earned.
Kris Watts had an excellent day as he went 3-3 with a double and a run.
Chase d'Arnaud went 1-2 with a walk and the only Hillcat.

Low A: West Virginia won 5-3 against Delmarva
Casey Erickson won his 2nd game as he threw a solid 6 innings with 1 earned
